Affiliate Disclosure

The short version
Some links on StackSwitched are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra. We label everything we publish by the evidence behind it, and commissions do not decide our verdicts.
How we label what we publish
Not everything on this site is a review. Every piece carries one of three labels, and we never present one as another:
- Tested review. We signed up, ran real campaigns, and documented the results. The page shows what we tested, when, and what the evidence was.
- Comparison. Pricing and features pulled by hand from the vendors' official pages, with a verification date on every number. No hands-on testing yet. Useful for price math; not a substitute for testing.
- First look. Early coverage with limited evidence. We say exactly what we do and do not know.
The word "review" is reserved for tested reviews. If a page does not say tested review, it is not one.
How affiliate links work
When you click an affiliate link on this site, a small tracking code tells the software company that StackSwitched referred you. If you become a paying customer, the company pays us a percentage of what you pay them. This is how the site funds its testing: paid accounts, sending volume, and the time it takes to test tools properly.
Programs we participate in
Active:

Not yet approved. We have applied or plan to apply to the affiliate programs of Brevo, MailerLite, Kit, and Omnisend. Until a program approves us, its links on this site are plain links, not affiliate links. We will move programs to the active list when approved.
Declined. GetResponse declined our application in September 2026, citing audience size. New site, no track record yet, fair call. We plan to re-apply once we have published testing. Until then, GetResponse links here are plain links.
Commission terms for each program are recorded in our internal link registry and re-verified before anything publishes. Programs change their terms; we update this page when they do.
What commissions do not do
- They do not decide verdicts. A higher-paying tool does not outrank a better-tested one.
- They do not buy positive coverage. If a tool fails our testing, we say so, and we still publish.
- They do not affect your price. You pay the same whether you use our link or go direct.
The test we apply to every recommendation: would we still write this sentence if there were no commission? If the answer is no, we rewrite it.
Where you will see disclosure
Every page that contains affiliate links carries a visible disclosure box near the top, before the first affiliate link. Videos carry a verbal disclosure in the first 30 seconds, an on-screen notice, and a disclosure in the description. This follows the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255): disclosures must be clear, conspicuous, and unavoidable.
Corrections
Prices change and we make mistakes. When we publish something wrong, we correct it visibly with a dated note on the page. If a price or fact on this site looks off, tell us.
