Affiliate Disclosure

The short version
Some links on StackSwitched are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra. We only recommend tools we have genuinely tested, and commissions do not decide our rankings or verdicts.
How it works
When you click an affiliate link on this site, a small tracking code tells the software company that StackSwitched referred you. If you become a paying customer, the company pays us a percentage of what you pay them. This is how the site funds its testing: paid accounts, sending volume, and the time it takes to review tools properly.

Commission terms for each program are recorded in our internal link registry and re-verified before reviews are published. Programs can change their terms; we update this page when they do.
What commissions do not do
- They do not decide rankings. A higher-paying tool does not outrank a better-tested one.
- They do not buy positive reviews. If a tool fails our testing, we say so, and we still publish.
- They do not affect your price. You pay the same whether you use our link or go direct.
Where you will see disclosure
Every page that contains affiliate links carries a visible disclosure box near the top, before the first affiliate link. Videos carry a verbal disclosure in the first 30 seconds, an on-screen notice, and a disclosure in the description. This follows the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255): disclosures must be clear, conspicuous, and unavoidable.
