What we collect

Analytics

We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Plausible-style) that measures aggregate visits without cookies and without collecting personal data. It records page views, referrers, and rough geography from IP addresses that are never stored. We do not use Google Analytics. If we change analytics providers, we will update this section.

Email signup

If you join our email list, we collect your email address and nothing else. We use it to send the checklist you requested and occasional emails about new reviews. We never sell your address, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. Our email provider processes your address on our behalf under its own privacy policy.

TODO: Name the email provider (Kit or Brevo) and link its privacy policy once the form is wired up.

Contact form

If you contact us, we receive whatever you type into the form (name, email, message) and use it only to reply. We do not add contact-form senders to the email list.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links to third-party software companies. Clicking one takes you to their site, where their privacy policy applies. The affiliate networks involved may set their own cookies to track referrals; we do not control those cookies. See our affiliate disclosure for the full picture.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your personal data.
• We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
• We do not collect payment information; purchases happen on the software companies' sites.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your email address from our list at any time, either via the unsubscribe link in any email or through the contact page. We will confirm deletion.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date above and note the change here for 30 days.
